At the end of September 2024, Gomany, which had been busy for a whole year, organized a team-building activity full of vitality and exploratory spirit. On September 20, the team members set off from Shenzhen and headed for the beautiful Hubei for a 5-day and 4-night journey. The activity aimed to allow the company's personnel to enhance understanding and friendship while appreciating the natural scenery and cultural history.
Day 1: The beginning of the journey: Yangtze River night cruise
On the first day of the team building, Gomany gathered at the high-speed rail station early in the morning. Everyone's face was full of excitement. After a long high-speed rail journey, all Gomany members arrived in Yibin in the evening. After a simple dinner, the team took a simple rest for a while, and then all members boarded the cruise ship for a Yangtze River night cruise. As the cruise ship slowly sailed out of the dock, it also meant that all Gomany members officially started the journey. The bright lights along the way relieved everyone's fatigue from running around. On the cruise ship, everyone tasted local food and admired the scenery on both sides of the Yangtze River. Everyone also communicated with each other in this atmosphere and enhanced their friendship.
Day 2: Learn about the history of the Three Gorges
Early in the morning of the next day, everyone quickly had breakfast with the expectation of going to the Three Gorges, and then took a bus to the famous 5A-level scenic spot - the Three Gorges Dam. After arriving at the dam area, everyone changed to an environmentally friendly car and went to Platform 196. Here, the team members took the sightseeing elevator to feel the majesty and momentum of the dam, visited the Three Gorges Project model room, and learned about the history and technology of this great project. During the tour, everyone praised the design and function of the Three Gorges ship lock. The spectacular scene of the double-line five-level ship lock shocked everyone, and many members took photos here. After lunch, the team members visited the Yichang Museum and admired the precious cultural relics unearthed in the Three Gorges area. Through these historical relics, everyone has a deeper understanding of Hubei's cultural heritage.
Day 3: Exploring Tujia Culture and Natural Wonders
On the third day, Gomany continued their adventure and went to Enshi Tusi City, which is the gathering place of Tujia culture. The team members felt the unique ethnic customs in the Tujia and Miao Village Customs Museum, which made us who have been working and living in the city for a long time feel another kind of leisure atmosphere. After lunch, everyone went to Suobuya to visit China's second largest stone forest. The magnificent natural landscape and unique geological structure amazed us. Many members took photos here. After exploring the stone forest, the team took a car to Xuanen County, which is known as the "World Selenium Capital". After dinner, the team took a bamboo raft to experience the joy of Longyou Gongshui. Everyone enjoyed the fun of water activities in a relaxed atmosphere. Many members played in the river, laughing constantly, and instantly brought each other closer.
Day 4: Exploring the Enshi Grand Canyon
On the last day in Hubei, all Gomany members went to challenge the Enshi Grand Canyon, which is praised by experts as being comparable to the Colorado Grand Canyon in the United States. After arriving at the Grand Canyon, the team first visited the Yunlong River rift. Two rivers meander through this land, forming a unique geological landscape. Standing on the edge of the cliff, everyone couldn't help but marvel at the wonderful sight brought about by the changes in the earth's crust. The rock layers on the left and right banks have a geological history of 100 million years apart, which makes people feel the greatness and mystery of nature. Everyone here felt a kind of awe of nature, and they all picked up cameras to record this shocking scene. Of course, this journey was very difficult and required teamwork. After 3 hours of climbing, all members of Gomany conquered the canyon. After lunch, the team continued to head towards Qixingzhai, which is famous for its steep peaks and rich trails. The attractions along the way, such as Xiaolongmen Peaks and Longmen Stone Forest, all show the wonders of nature. The team members strolled on the mountain paths, sometimes playing and sometimes cooperating with each other, and traveled through Qixingzhai with laughter.
Day 5: Return trip
On the fifth day of the team building, Gomany finally reached the end of the journey. With the experience of this trip and some moments frozen in the photos, we took the high-speed train back to Shenzhen. On the high-speed train, the team was more familiar with each other than when they first arrived in Hubei. Everyone was sharing interesting stories about this trip to Hubei, adjusting their status and preparing to quickly get into work status after returning to Shenzhen and looking forward to the next team building trip.
