In the era of rapid development of digital display technology, digital signage has become an important tool for content delivery. It mainly includes two processes, namely the processing section and the assembly section. I will disassemble and describe it.

Stretched bar monitor processing section: laying the foundation for quality

●External front frame processing

The external front frame is the first line of defense for stretched LCD screens. Its quality directly affects the appearance and durability of the screen. At Gomany, we have strict standards for the processing of the external front frame. First, the operator will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the front frame to ensure that there are no deformation, scratches, or paint peeling. Then, we will stick the foam on the inside of the external front frame. The distance between the double-sided foam tape and the edge of the display area of ​​the front frame is strictly controlled within 1.5 mm to ensure the flatness and sealing of the screen.

 

●Middle frame processing

The processing of the middle frame is a key link in the assembly process. At Gomany, we precisely attach the silicone strip and the light strip to the middle frame to ensure that the fit between the two reaches the highest standard. The role of the silicone strip is to provide buffering and sealing, while the light strip is the core component of the screen backlight system. Its installation accuracy directly affects the brightness uniformity of the screen.

 

●Attaching the backplane insulation sheet

Attaching the backplane insulation sheet requires extremely high precision. We attach the insulation sheet to the notch of the backplane and smooth the surface of the backplane to ensure seamless fit between the insulation sheet and the backplane, providing a stable foundation for subsequent assembly.

 

Stretched bar monitor assembly section: fine operation of core technology

●Diaphragm assembly

Diaphragm assembly is one of the core steps in the stretched monitor display assembly process. We place the reflector, diffuser and light guide plate on the positioning columns of the back panel in sequence, and place an additional diffuser on the back panel. To ensure the quality of the screen display, we use a bow-shaped tool to inspect the screen to check for foreign matter, white spots or scratches. This process requires the operator to have a high degree of concentration and meticulous observation.

 

●Locking the middle frame screws

Locking the middle frame screws is a key step to ensure the stability of the screen structure. We use a high-precision screwdriver to lock the screws one by one according to the preset torque value to ensure a tight fit between the middle frame and the back panel. This step requires not only technology but also experience accumulation to avoid screen shaking or damage caused by loose screws.

 

●OC assembly

Open cell assembly is the most technically demanding part of the entire screen processing. First, we light up the backlight system and check whether there are foreign objects or scratches on the open cell. Then, the operator places the glass on the work surface with the COF end facing up, and sticks it with masking tape. Then, gently press the OC at an angle of 30° and tear off the protective film. Next, the OC is precisely placed on the backlight system and checked for its fit with the middle frame pad. To further enhance the stability of the screen, we tear off the release film and stick the limit pad on the side of the middle frame. Finally, the glass PCB is fixed to the back panel with masking tape to ensure the firmness of the entire structure.

 

●Locking the front frame

Locking the front frame is the last step in the assembly process. We first stick a conductive cloth on the edge of the cut side glass and stick the other side of the conductive cloth on the back panel. Then, the operator snaps the processed front frame onto the module. This step requires extremely high precision to ensure seamless fit between the front frame and the module.

 

●Apply EVA double-sided tape

In order to enhance the adhesion and sealing of the screen, we apply EVA double-sided tape on the back panel. The double-sided tape needs to be evenly distributed to ensure that the screen will not loosen or fall off during long-term use.

 

●Paste OC PCB

First, we tear off the release paper and accurately attach the PCB to the backplane, while ensuring that the COF part is neither too tight nor too loose. Then, we connect the FFC cable to the PCB board and attach it to the backplane. In order to enhance the stability of the electrical connection, we paste conductive cloth at the grounding position and paste foam pads at the designated position.

 

●Protective cover

Finally, we attach the glass PCB protective cover and 6 screws to the back panel to provide additional protection. To ensure the stability of the light bar interface, we use silicone and tape to fix the light bar line to prevent display problems caused by loose lines.
