LCD Display Strip Failure Causes
Cable failure: If the cable between the LCD TV screen and the motherboard is loose or damaged, it will affect the image transmission, resulting in vertical stripes on the screen.
Damaged LCD unit: If the LCD unit in the LCD screen is damaged due to physical impact or long-term use, it may cause some areas to display abnormally, displaying vertical stripes.

Liquid crystal is a special substance between solid and liquid. Its molecular arrangement changes under the action of electric field, thus affecting the polarization state and transmittance of light, and finally realizing the image display.
The basic working principle of LCD display strip can be summarized as follows.
Liquid crystal molecule arrangement: Liquid crystal molecules are elongated organic molecules with certain polarization characteristics. In the absence of an applied electric field, the arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules depends on the type of liquid crystal material. Common arrangements include Nematic, Twisted Nematic, Vertical Nematic, and so on.
Electric field effect: When a voltage is applied to the LCD screen, an electric field is generated. This electric field can change the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules. Particularly in twisted nematic liquid crystals, the electric field causes the liquid crystal molecules to twist or rearrange, changing the path of light propagation.
Light polarization and penetration: When light passes through the LCD screen, its polarization state is affected by the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules. When the liquid crystal molecules are in a particular arrangement, it can control the direction of light polarization, thus controlling the degree of light penetration. This phenomenon is called the polarization effect of liquid crystals.
Pixel control: An LCD screen consists of many small pixels, each of which contains a liquid crystal unit and a transparent electrode. By controlling the voltage at each pixel, the angle of rotation of the liquid crystal molecules can be changed, thus enabling the pixels to be turned on and off to display images.
Backlight and polarizer: The backlight provides the light source and the polarizer serves to control the direction of light polarization. Under the action of voltage, the liquid crystal molecules rotate, thus changing the transmission of light and realizing image display.
